About Us

A noncommercial platform for learners interested in scholarly discussions. Inspired by the Franciscan Intellectual Tradition in history, we host discussions in different topics related to our spirituality but also Sciences.

The idea came into existence as a result of our regular informal meetings to discuss scholarly topics at our Capuchin scholastic House, Morogoro, and so this platform is an extension and formalisation of that.

While inspiration tempts the inspired to boast, we are moved by the spirit of minority of Franciscan brothers and sisters in history who combined both inspiration and learning, and made it their life. Among the many, St. Bonaventure has been exceptional to us as a whole.

In the same spirit therefore, we invite "learners" into discussions and presentations on FRANCISCANISM, PHILOSOPHY, THEOLOGY and SCIENCE. With these programmes as inspirational to our team, we do share our presentation papers but also posters for our schedule. Welcome! Bonaventures Step By Step.

Our mission and vision can be interpreted from the Logo, thus, Grounded in the Franciscan way of life (The brown colour all around), Inspiration (the upper dotted curves) grounds and carries us forward (the lower dotted curves) as lessers in knowledge or Learners (The L).
